WAY TO VICTORY
TALK AT Y.M.C.A. The third of a series of addresses was delivered at the Y.M.C.A. by Mr. Harry Dawson yesterday was on the words “But thanks be to God Who givetli us the victory.” Mr. Dawson pointed out thathe word “Victory” reminded us of great achievenest, and of acts of bravery and supreme sacrifice for others. He referred to the not© of praise to be found in the letter of Paul to the Corinthians. Mr. Dawson spoke of Christ as the “vivtory bringer” and referred to Him as the one who brings pardon, reconciles, gives power, separates and saves. The speaker then applied the text to the needs of men today and indicated that victory was available hrougli the Christ of the Gospels in every phase of life.
