DRAGGED BY HORSE Special to THE SUN COROMANDEL, Friday. As a result of being dragged by % horse for some distance, Mr. Normal Jeffcoat, of Colville, was severely in* jured. Mr. Jeffcoat was loading a pack* horse with stores when some ropes eie tangled his feet and tripped him. The horse reared and bolted, dragging hint through the Te Hopoe Creek, a rough, stone-bedded stream. He managed to free his feet after being dragged for a quarter of a mile. At the Coromandel Hospital it was found that he was suffering from a fracture of the skull, several deeo flesh wounds and other severe bodily abrasions.
