PROVIDED ALWAYS that ths above Undertaking and Agreement is subject to the following special conditions which are the essence of the contract, namely. (a) The scope of the Insurance Is restricted to accidents happening In Zealand and \o steamers sailing within New Zealand territorial waters. (b) In the case of death, such death must result within 30 days after the accident. (cl) IN THE CASE OF PERMANENT TOTAL OR PARTIAL DISABLEMENT that notice of the accident be given bv the subscriber as aforesaid within fourteen (14) days of the accident. (e) IN THE CASE OF TEMPORARY TOTAL DISABLEMENT that notice of the accident be given by the subscriber as aforesaid within seven (7) days of the accident. (f) That Medical Certificates and other necessary information be furnished by the claimant upon request. (g) That the total liability In respect of claims arising out of any one railwayaccident or disaster which results in the death within thirty (30) days of mere tian one person shall not exceed the sum of £1,000; In any such event the said s im of one thousand pounds ( £1.000) will be paid pro rata. (h) That the total liability in respect of claims arising out of any one accident or disaster, other than railway accidents, which results in the death within thirty days of more than one person shall not: exceed the sun of one thousand pound* (£’1,000) In the event of such happening the said sum of one thousand pound* shall be paid pro rata. (j> That no compensation shall be payable for any accident sustained while the subscriber is In a state of tntox' - cation or resisting from suicide or attempt thereat, an overdose of drugs, insanity, war, riot, or civil commotion or for an injury arising out of and in the coarse of his or her employment save as allowed in clauses 2 and 6 hereof. fk> That in the event of any disco** between the subscriber and THE SUN as to whether such disablement render the holder temporarily or totally coab> to follow his or her usual vocation, it t* agreed that such dispute ehall be referred to the decision of a medical referee to be nominated by THE SUN whose decision shall be binding upon the parties. (m) That the wife or husband of a Rcr-e Delivery Subscriber ordinarily residing with him or her shall be deemed to be a Home Delivery Subscriber.
