WELLINGTON BAND CONTEST
JUDGE AND SUPERVISOR Press klssociattOfi WELLINGTON, Thursday. The annual bands contest is to take place at Wellington next February. The programme will last the full week from February 23. On the recommendation of the Wellington Band Contest Committee, the North Island Brass Bands’ Association has appointed Mr. J. J_ Kelly, of Hamilton, near Sydney, to be the adjudicator. Mr. E. Pa.lliser, of Wellington, will be the supervisor. No decision has jet been reached as to where the open air events are to take place, but it is likely to be at Athletic Park, where previous contests were held.
