BAGBY TO RIDE PAHU
i One of the biggest teams to put in :an appearance at Ellerslie for n«x* week’s racing is the string control^ ‘by the Cambridge owner-trainer R Hannon, who brought half a doien horses last evening. viz.. R omari Abbey. Takutama, Chromadyne, Tinakoa. Nukutere and Pennvplain. Whenever tlie weights suit they will be ridden by W. Rennie. Several news arrivals were reported this morning, and a number of Southerners were seen out working at Ellerslie. Last year’s winner of the Great Northern Hurdles, Mister Gamp, i<j here, under J. Coyle, xvho also brought Pahu. J. Fryer’s team is restricted to three, comprising Airtight, Mendip and Copsey; L. Knapp brought Four Aces; J. F. Butler Seatown: and F. R. "Waller Aurora Borealis. Another arrival last evening was the Taumarunui-trained Derry Belle, under the charge of her owner, L. G. Butler. Pahu is to be ridden in the Cornwall Handicap by R. S. Bagby.
