DEATH FROM INJURIES
COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR
CYCLIST DIES IN HOSPITAL Mr. Joseph Kenneth Ross, aged 20. single, of 14 Kiwi Road, Devonport, who suffered serious head injuries through being thrown from Iris motorcycle after a collision with a motorcar at the corner of Valley Road and Dominion Road at about 7.30 yesterday morning, died at the Auckland Hospital in the afternoon. Mr. Ross was travelling along Dominion Road and the motor-car, driven by Mr. Hamnrerick, of White Swan Road, Avondale South, was turning into Valley Road from the other direction. The cyclist struck the rear of the car and was thrown over tire handle-bars. He was removed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance in an unconscious condition. Mr. Ross, an ex-navy man, was a native of Dundee, and had been in Xew Zealand about seven years. He had no relations in the Dominion.
