WAIKATO CHAPTER
VACANCIES NOT FILLED WARDENS CARRY ON f rom Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Todaj'. The impasse which occurred at the annual meeting of St. Peter's Cathedral parishioners on April 30 when the parishioners failed to elect a chapter would have been dealt with by standing committee of the diocese which met yesterday. There was, however, no correspondence on the subject and no action was taken by the committee.
In the meantime, during the absence on sick leave, of the dean, the Rev. J. R. Barnett, two wardens, Mr. W. CJ. Pountney and Mr. J. T. Reid, are carrying on the administrative affairs of the parish.
