BOXER’S LIBEL SUIT
SARRON ACCEPTS £25 PAID INTO COURT NEWSPAPER’S OFFER TAKEN Press Association ELTHAII, Today. The threatened action against the Eltham "Argus” at the suit of Pete Karron. who was claiming £3OO damages for an alleged libel in that newspaper's report of the Sarron-Donovan fight at New Plymouth, will not reach the court.
The defendants paid £23 into court and Sarron’s solicitors, O'Donnell and Cleary, of Wellington, have accepted the amount paid in as full satisfaction.
