Two parts of the total are to be paid to the Canterbury Hospital Board, the income to be used in providing extra comforts for inmates of the Jubilee Home, Woolston. The other part will go to the trustees of the Presbyterian Girls’ Orphanage, to assist girls leaving the institution to make their way in life.
