RURAL CREDITS BOARD
EXPANSION OF BUSINESS Press Association ■WELLINGTON, Today. At the monthly meeting of the Rural Intermediate Credits Board, a report was presented stating that there had been rapid expansion of business due to tho increased recourse to the system by sheepfarmers and graingrowers, owing to the existing financial stringency and to the provision of special credit facilities for these classes of farmers, and also for the seasonal financial requirements of dairy farmers. Repayments of loans had ' been well maintained. The board considered certain measures for the provision of further finance, which will shortly become necessary to meet increasing demands by farmers.
