TWO MOTORISTS ACQUITTED
SEQUEL TO FATAL SMASHES Press Association PALMERSTON' N'.. Wednesday. After two and a-balf hours' retirement the jurv returned a verdiet ot not guilty in the case in which Bache Wright Harvey, farmer, <•£ W aver lei, was charged in the Supreme Court todav with negligent driving and causing death. The charge was a sequel to an accident near Palmerston North on Januarv IS, when Harveys car collided at an intersection, with a motorcvcle ridden by two young men. Hectoi Eggletun and Bertram Huzlehurst, both of whom were killed. Leonard Douglas Anderson, who appeared on a similar charge, ''as '’ acquitted. The case was a sequel to collision near Feilding on February 16 when two motor-cyclists collided at night, with the result that one was killed.
