Works by the orchestra included "Entry of Gladiators’* (Fucik). “Barcarolle” (Offenbach), “Intermezzo” (Mascagni). “Bohemian Girl” (Balfe). "Blue Danube” (Strauss), “Simple Aveu” (Thome), “Melody in F" (Rubinstein), “Belle of New York” (Kirker) and “Blaze of Glory” (Holmann). The soloists were Miss Kay Christie, who sang Lehmann’s “Good Morning, Brother Sunshine.” and “Hame” (Wai* ford Davies), both of which were warmly encored, a cello solo, “Valse Triste” (Sibelius), by Miss Jc- ~ Clarkson, a bell solo “Les Cloches de i ft Molo” by Master W. Sharp, and a vio..r. solo, “Mazurka Caprice” (Bohm), by Master John Taberner, all of which were very warmly received. Master Harold Taberner was the leader of the orchestra and for one so young gave a very creditable performance, also accompanying his brother in the violin solo. For the final march the conductor, Mr. Harold Baxter, changed places with the leader, Master Taberner conducting the orchestra. Miss Thelma Gordon was the accompanist.
