STUCK ON MUDBANK
VESSEL IN MANUKAU HARBOUR The S.S. Orepuki spent part of today on a mudbank in the Manukau Harbour, 100 yards away from the Onehunga Wharf. The tide was receding as the vessel neared the wharf at 7.30 o’clock this morning, after a voyage from Nelson In the shallow water she ran on to the mudbank and stuck there. It is expected that the Orepuki will be refloated at about 5 o’clock this evening on the full tide. No damage? was done to the vessel.
