GAS CONTAINERS BURN
15,000 CUBIC FEET DESTROYED FIRE IN WELLINGTON Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. An extraordinary fire occurred in the railway gas house at Lambton station this morning, six containers totalling 15,000 cubic i’eet of gas being affected. The men say flames apparently shot into the building from the outside. One man was somewhat scorched and rushed outside with his clothing alight, but was not seriously hurt. The brigade came on the scene but had to confine its efforts to keeping the fire to the containers themselves.
