Services at the Bcresford Street Congregational Church will be conducted by the Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher. At 1 1 a.m. he will speak on “Conscience and the Holy Spirit,” and at 7 p.m on “The Silence of God.” The Festival of the Presentation of Christ will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Cathedral. Canon Fancourt will speak in the morning and the Rev. IT. K. Archdall in the evening. Canon Grant Cowen will preach at I l a.m. at St. Alatthew’s Church, and in the evening the speaker will be the Rev. G. R. Monteith. * <* * Officers for 1930 will be dedicated at the Pitt Street Methodist Church at II a.m. the Rev. W. Walker will preach and will also speak in the evening. m m m At the Auckland Higher Thought Temple Mr. T. W. Silcock will speak at 11 a.m. and Air. Af. Walker at 7 p.m. * • * The Rev. Lawson Alarsh will preach at 11 a.m. at the Devonport Presbyterian Church, the Rev. W. Gilmour at the Edendale Church, and the Rev. R. L. Walker at the Somervell Church. The Rev. R. C. Roberts will speak at both morning and evening services at the Atount Eden Congregational Church. * * o “The Impersonal Life” will be the subject taken by Air. Belz at 7 p.m. at the Spiritual Scientists’ Church. * • * The Rev. L. C. Horwood will preach at 11 a.m. at the Airedale Street Alission and an evangelistic service will be held at France Street at 7 p.m. * * * The Progressive Church of Spiritualists, Newmarket, will hold a service at 7 p.m., when Air.
