CLEVEDON SHOW

RECORD ENTRIES RECEIVED JUDGES APPOINTED devotion, situated in some of the finest farming and hunting country in the Auckland Province, offers many attractions at its annual show, which is to bo held, on Saturday, February S. Encouraged by the splendid number of entries the Clevedon Agricultural and Pastoral Association has set itself this year to give visitors and the public a line exhibition in every department. The tote 1 entries are the highest for the past four years, and in the horse section they are the highest since 1913. In the section for hunters a record has been established—there are 22 entries in one section. Entries of fat cattle and fat sheep compare more than favourably with previous years, and every other department has drawn many competitors. Given a fine day the officials are confident tha; it will be a record show in every waj. The judges in the various sections will be a? follow:—Saddle horses and hunters, Mr. S. Jolly (Aka Aka, Waiuku): Jerseys, Mr. PI. Moreland (Newstead); Ayrshires, Mr. C. Bailey (Huntly); dairy cows, Mr. A. J. Me'ville (Buckland); fat stock, Mr. G. Ingram (Ramarama). Sheep: Long-wocls, Mr. W. W. Livingstone (Matamata ); short-wools, Mr. J. H. Goto (Tuhikarumea). Pigs: Mr. 11. E_ Potter (Karaka North, Papakura).
