RACING AT WOODVILLE FIRST DAY’S RESULTS FINE ACRE WINS HURDLES Press Association WOODVILLE, Today. The weather was fine but dull for the first day of the Woodville Jockey Club’s spring meeting. Moepai led all the w r ay to the straight in the Bolton Handicap, and there Talisker was handy, with First Acre, Merry Mint, Blimp and Courageous following. Courageous appeared to have the race won when Merry Mint came again and won by a head from Courageous, who was half a length in front of Avro, with Kick. Off and Talisker next. Kick Off and Merry Mint should be the better for the race.
