Felix's owner paid a visit to Mahurangi Heads last week and learned quite a lot about the fate of some of the old-time champions of that oncefamous club. Some of the old exmembers of the club still maintain they could show, even the best in the Queen City how to sail model yachts. Clean Sweep was taken to the Big Barrier in answer to a challenge from tlie natives there, but after an exhibition of her sailing powers the match did not eventuate. Bobby Dazzler still sails the bays Mahurangi way. Writer intended giving this boat a thorough try-out with a view to bringing her to Auckland, but a neighbour’s calf took a fancy to her sails, no doubt finding salt water and calico an admirable mixture. Resolute’s hull was recently sold.
