INJURED BY FALL OF EARTH
ACCIDENT TO WORKMAN Mr. Roderick Finlayson, aged 56, married, of Cliattell Street, Papakura, received a broken leg as the result of a fall of earth while employed in the Government relief work on the Cleve-don-Brookby Road, at about nine o'clock yesterday morning. The injured man was engaged in loading a dray when the slip unexpectedly occurred. jamming him against the wheel. Mr. Finlayson was removed to the Auckland Hospital in a private motorcar. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
