English, finest farmers’, 110 s to USs (110 s to 116 s). ADVANCE IN STERLING RECORD AT NEW YORK United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Monday. Sterling advanced on the New York market on Monday above 4.881, at which gold exports to Britain would appear to be profitable. It is the highest level since the end of 1927.
