PILSUDSKI DEFEATED
PANDEMONIUM IN POLISH DIET COMMUNISTS ELATED WARSAW, Saturday. Pandemonium raged in the Polish Diet late last night, after the carrying of a vote of no-confidence in the Government by 246 votes to 120. This is the culmintaion of Marshal Pilsudski's feud with the Speaker. Although armed guards wearing gas masks were stationed outside Parliament House all day, there was no disorder until the Government was defeated, when the Communists, whose earlier no-confidence motion was rejected, jeered loudly on the announcement of the adverse vote. They sang the Communist anthem, and waved the international Red banner. The Speaker was powerless, and left the chair. All the members filed out without making a noise except the Government supporters, who remained and cheered Marshal Pilsudski. It is surmrised that Marshal Pilsudski has now no course but to reconstruct his Ministry.
