RAIN CAUSES ABANDONMENT Resumption Next Saturday THE onset of a driving shower, after the third series of Suburban matches had been in progress only Half nu hour, compelled abandonment of play for the day at the Domain on Saturday afternoon. A downpour just before starting time, 2 o’clock, necessitated half an hour's wait to ascertain if the wickets were in tit condition to play before the games were got under way.
