PLANS FOR BIG CARNIVAL Bigger and brighter than ever, the annual Tauranga regatta carnival will as usual on December 27. The fixture has been conducted for many years and always attracts a large influx of holiday-makers from Auckland and elsewhere. A comprehensive programme of yachting, launching and outboard racing, swimming, rowing and side-show events is billed, frizes in cash and trophies to the ' ltlue °t more than £SOO will be awarded.
