FARM COLLEGE’S PROGRESS The practical training in agriculture, educational and social activities at the Latter Day Saints’ Maori Agricultural College, Korongata. Hastings, are outlined interestingly in the college catalogue and announcement for 1930. Island youths attend the college and Camoans and Tonga ns are numbered m the present attendance. The curriculum at the college embodies the usual secondary school procedure, but m addition special attention ii> devoted to study of social qualifications. Theologj**and farm management courses occupy prominent places in the college study, but the students are also taught public speaking, harmony, singing and tako part in the activities of the glee club and the band at the college. Strict rules are carried out to ensur© physical fitness and the college enters a successful senior Rugby fifeen in the Hawke’s Bay competition.
