SHIP RUNS ASHORE
STEAMER STANDING BY AT CAPE HOWE PROBABLY SMALL VESSEL Reed. 9.50 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. A message has been received by the Navigation Department, stating that a vessel is ashore at Cape Howe. The steamer Saros is standing by and will launch a boat. There is no description o£ the vessel, but it is surmised that it is not a large one, else it would have notified the authorities by wireless of its plight before being driven ashore.
