Mrs. Neville Newcomb arrived from Eng land, yesterday Joy the Kangitiki.

Mrs. Tom White, of Remuera, is a guest of Mrs. Blomfield in Hamilton.

Miss Brown, of Auckland, formerly of New Plymouth, is the guest of Mrs. J. Williams in Claudelands.

The Misses R. and L. Irwin, who left yesterday by the Ulimaroa, intend making a tour of Australia.

Lady Stewart, of Pigeon Bay, Banks Peninsula, who has been on a visit to Great Britain, returned yesterday by the Kangitiki. Visitors at the Hotel Cargen include Mrs. H. R. Clark, of Napier, Mrs. T. H. Fisher, of. Wellington, and Miss Wills, of Greatford.

Mrs. Bush Salmon, of London, Mrs. E. Regan, of London, and Miss I. L. Bond, of Norwich, England, are among the overseas visitors staying at Stonehurst.

Mrs. E. W. Kitson, of London, who arrived by the Kangitiki, will spend some time in New' Zealand as the guest of her uncle, Mr. Greenwood, of Ilawke’s Bay.

Mrs. F. W. Doidge arrived from England yesterday to pay a visit to relatives at Onehunga. Mr. Doidge, who is now a director of the “Daily Express” and prominent in the London journalistic world, was formerly a well-known resident of Auckland.

Among the visitors who are at present staying at the Grand Hotel are Mrs. E. Graeme-Robertson, of London, Mrs. Douglas Williams and Miss M. Williams, of Havelock North, and Mrs. W. D|incan, who returned from England by the Kangitiki yesterday.

Nurse Muriel Parkes, of Southport, England, leaves Auckland by the daylight express on Tuesday next for the South in continuation of her trip round the world. Nurse Parkes is the daughter of Dr. Robert Parkes, a wellknown medico of Southport, and is a cousin of Mr. J. J. Parkes, of Onslow Road, Mount Albert, ’ and of Dr. W. H. Parkes, of Symonds Street, with whom she has been staying during her visit to Auckland.
