DOCTORS AND KEROSENE
EFFECT OF CORROSIVES ON CANCER THE DARGAVILLE CURE From Our Own Correspondent DARGAVILLE, Friday.* Tli case of Mr. Frank Bell, who obtained relief from a cancerous growth by the use of kerosene was referred doctors today.
Dr. M. Greville said the growth was of a local type and that almost any astringent or corrosive would have destroyed it in the same manner as the keresene apparently had done. Dr. F. .C. Shortt stated that the data was too indefinite to make any definite statement, but that any astringent or corrosive would have the same effect on a localised tumour as kerosene.
Dr. C. H. Crump stated he had not sufficient data before him to express any opinion.
