OFFICERS ELECTED

BAPTIST CONFERENCE FEDERATION OF CHURCHES That tlie time is ripe to make an effort to form a federation of tlie evangelical churches of New Zealand was the opinion expressed by the Rev. W. Walker, president of the Auckland Ministers’ Association, who led a deputation which appeared before the Baptist Conference at the Tabernacle, Upper Queen Street, this morning. “We realise that any form of a union, however desirable, is scarcely feasible.
