OYSTERS TO BLAME?
THREE TYPHOID CASES IN WELLINGTON WARNING ISSUED Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. There are three cases of typhoid fever in the Wellington Hospital. The Health Department comments that the only feature in common is that each patient had been eating rawoysters. Besides the Christchurch cases there are some in other South Island towns and in these cases also raw oysters are blamed. The department advises people not to eat oysters in the meantime unless they are well cooked.
