TE PUKE PARTY
MRS. W. DAVIES IS HOSTESS Mrs. W. Davies entertained a number of friends at a bridge afternoon at the Lyceum Club, Te . Puke, recently. The club rooms were decorated with golden wattle, and looked very charming. Mrs. T. H. Wilsone received a pack of playing cards for the prize. Those present were:—Mesdames Davies, Knight, MacFarlane, Budd, Ralfe, Tapper (Rotorua), Wilkie, Wilsone, Booker, Granger, Vercoe, Twogg, Cawte, Wickham, Bostock, Martyn, Ball, Butcher, Cashmore, and Jones; and Misses Bush, Jamieson, Turner, Davies, Mollgaard, Chappel, Watson, Esson (Christchurch).
