HARD-UP SOCIAL
EPSOM GRAMMAR SCHOOL OLD GIRLS JOLLY EVENING Old girls and present girls of the Epsom Grammar spent a gay time on Tuesday evening, when they attended a “hard-up" social in the School Hall. Between games and competitions were delightful items, which were contributed by the following: Miss M. Cutting, songs: Miss M. Free, recitations; Miss H. Gray, violin solos: Miss Ft. Pilkington, recitation; Miss J. Hewitt, pianoforte solo. The supper-room was charmingly decorated with orange and cream spring flowers. The energetic committee, comprising Misses M. Chaplin (president), I. Park (vice-president), J. Dive (secretary), M. Gray. I. Barry, M. Hooton, M. Short, was responsible for the success J and originality of the function.
