At the Click Clack Cabaret

Air. Clyde Ilowley’s Famous Internationals were in good form on Saturday evening, when they dispensed the newest and brightest dance numbers to an enthusiastic crowd of dancers at the Click Clack Cabaret. Alany novelties had been arranged for the enjoyment of the dancers, and a very jolly evening was spent. A dance ballet by Miss Gwenth MacXaughton and her pupils, and an exhibition of modern ballroom dancing by Air. and Airs. Clyde Howley, were very much appreciated. AMONG THOSE PRESENT Airs. C. Lance Alarrett chose black and rose beaded georgette. Airs. C. A. Johnston's gown was of ivory chiffon of uneven length. Airs. R. Dacre was wearing an uneven length frock of black taffeta. Airs. Clinkard’s gown of ivory georgette was embroidered with cream and gold beads. Mrs. B. Power had on a period gown of cherry crepe faille. Airs. D. H. Shipherd had chosen black crepe de chine. Airs. Cholmondeley’s smart gown was of flowered ninon. Airs. Norman Ross had pinned a spray of flame coloured flowers to the corsage of her ivory satin and lace gown. Airs. Blakely was in palest primrose embossed georgette. Mrs. R. Devon (Palmerston North), were black satin with bouffant overskirt of tulle. BLACK VELVET AND DIAMENTE Airs. Johnstone was in black chiffon velvet with diamente relief. Airs. Browne was in black chiffon with uneven length skirt. Airs. Ross chose duchess blue •* satin beaute and georgette. Airs. Bulford was in a chenille embossed gown of softest cameo pink. Airs. Melody’s gown was of gentian blue georgette and crepe de chine. All's. Dalton wore a smart black chenille embossed georgette gown. Airs. Howley was in a sequined net gown of ravenswing blue and black. Airs. Bright wore cloth of silver. Airs. Harris had chosen a honey beige lace frock. Miss Joy. Stuart Wore a pretty frock of larkspur blue georgette with petalled skirt. . _ , Miss Florence Earle was m a frock of black satin charmeuse. Aliss AlacNaughton was in ivory georgette relieved with silver. IN FLORAL TISSUE Aliss AlcLaughlin wore a frock of flowered tissue. Aliss Collings wore chartreuse green georgette. Aliss AI. Turner chose an amber embossed georgette frock. Aliss Aluriel Gummer’s frock of flame crepe de soie was appliqued with posies of gold flowers. Aliss P. AlcCartie was in ivory satin and tulle with sprays of blue forget-me-nots on the frilled skirt. Aliss AI. Graves wore amethyst satin beaute. Miss P. Bostock wore a cream lace gown over lacquer red crepe de chine. Aliss C. Jeffers was in a bouffant tarfeta gown of lido blue. Miss L. Bulford had on pompadour pink frilled net and taffeta. Aliss Ar. Upson wore a black georgette frock with deep shadow hem of gold Aliss N. Young had on a black chiffon velvet gown. Miss Armour wore a silver lace gown over platinum tinted satin beaute. Aliss J.
