Enjoyable Function at Hamilton FLOWERS AND BRIGHT STREAMERS On Saturday ngiht the vestibule *• and passages of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company’s buildings in Hamilton were gay with multi-col-oured streamers and flooded with light for the annual dance Excellent music was played by the i Regent Orchestra. FANCY DRESS BALL MAY ROAD SCHOOL PUPILS On Thursday at a children's fancy dress ball held in the May Road school in aid of the school funds, many parents, scholars and friends attended, and the evening- was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The prize winners in the various sections were:—Tiny tots: Little Patty Fletcher, as a Twinkling Star. Best fancy dress (girls) : Lorna Radford, as Frolic. Best fancy dress (boys): Jimmy Paterson, as a Drummer Boy. Most original (girls): Joyce Allen, representing a black cat. Most original (boys): Norman Pratt, as a sack of potatoes.
