WAITEMATA COUNTY
MR. S. PHILLIPS ELECTED
The vacancy on the Waitemata County Council caused by the death of Mr. J. C. Rimmer has been filled. Nominations for a representative of the Malretahi Riding closed at the council’s offices at noon today and as only one was received, that of Mr. Stanley Phillips, of Wharepapa, he was declared elected.
