NEW ZEALAND GOLFERS
KIRK-WINDEYER CUP TEAM AT MELBOURNE MELBOURNE, Thursday. The New- Zealand Kirk-Windciyer Cup team of golfers, K. Ross, T. H. Horton, J. L. Black and Sloan Morpeth, arrived in Melbourne today and were welcomed by the Lord Mayor. They were later motored to the Commonwealth links, to witness the final of the professional championship. They are staying in Melbourne as guests of the Vic tor fit Golf Club. In the final of the professional go ? f championship of Victoria today. R. Jupp defeated the holder, Rufus Stewart (South Australia), 6 up and 5, over 36 holes. Jupp was 6 up at the- end of the final round. His play was very solid and sure.
