Club 5 Annual Function SUCCESSFUL GATHERING A most successful and enjoyable evening was spent on Saturday last at the Clubhouse, King‘s Drive. the occasion being the annual prizegiVing of the “'aitEmnta Boating Club. MT. EDEN FIRE BRIGADE A very successful social and dance organised by members of the Mount Eden Volunteer Fire Brigade was held in the social room, Valley Road, last Saturday evening. The decorative scheme was beautifully carried out in rose and gold. The evening was passed with many old~time and novelty dances, interspersed with most enjoyable vocal items by Miss Maida.
