CARRYING OUT CONSERVATIVE PLEDGES (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 1.5 p.m. LONDON, Friday. In the House of Commons, Conservatives and Liberals, amid laughter, supported a resolution by Sir Hilton Young thanking the Lord Privy Seal, Mr. J. H. Thomas, for so promptly carrying out the pledges given by the Conservative candidates at the election.
