SCHOOLS AT EXHIBITIONS
ACCIDENT LIABILITY VIEW Authority was issvied by the Auckland Education Board this morning for the provision of facilities for schools to visit the Auckland Winter Exhibition. The exhibition executive has aranged for the admission of school parties in charge of teachers free during the day. Mr. A. Burns, chairman of the board, raised the question of the board’s responsibility in case of accident, and said that there was already one case before the authorities. Mr. T. U. Wells explained that liability depended on the points of employment and negligence. The Railway Department wrote stating that concessions in fares would be available for travelling school parties. ‘
