There was a j good attendance, and the track was j in good order. Results: WAIOHIKI HACK HURDLES Of £135; lh miles. 1 FINE ACRE, 9.0 1 5 THURNBELL, 9.8 2 2—ABISOGNE, 10.1 3 Scratched: Haiti. Won by half a length, a head between second and third. Time, 2.53 1-5. Wilmoreana made the early running in the Waiohiki Handicap. He had a life opposite the stand. Half a mile from home Fine Acre ran into the lead, and, fencing well all the way, eventually won nicely by a length from Thurnbell, who finished fast, and cut Abisogne out of second place. Wilmoreana was fourth. GREENMEADOWS HACK HANDICAP Of £125; 5 furlongs 6 GLVN DHU, 9.8 1 S—LAST MARK, 9.0 2 4-MANGAHAERE, 10.7 3 All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, a length between second and third. Time, 1.6. Trisogne and Atapai were early in front in the Greenmeadows Handicap, but both failed. Taranto led into the straight, where Glyn Dhu came fast and won by a head from Last Mark, with Mangahere a close third and Taranto fourth.
