WOMAN BIGAMIST
HUSBAND GRANTED DIVORCE Bigamy was the ground on which Peri Hunia, of Runaruna (Mr. Butler) sought dissolution of his marriage with Mary Hunia, before Mr. Justice Kennedy, in the Supreme Court today. William Whittaker was cited as corespondent. Petitioner was married at Whangape in 1910, and two years later left with another man, with whom she went through a form of marriage in 1915. Corroborative evidence was given showing that Whittaker and respondent were living together and had seven children. Respondent had been charged and admitted bigamy in the Rawene Court •three years ago. j A decree nisi was granted, to be I made absolute in three months.
