WIFE TO RETURN
HUSBANDS PETITION GRANTED An order instructing Eva Mary Green to return to her husband within 3 4 days was made by Mr. Justice Kennedy in the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon in granting the petition of Donald Green, a Taipuha tlaxmiller. for restitution of conjugal rights. Mrs. Green, who was in the witness box throughout the afternoon. was cross-examined by Air. lnder on behalf of her husband. She said she and her sons had been left innumerable times to carry on the farm work while her husband enjoyed himself at the races. "I seem to have been working and struggling for years without making any headway.” she declared. ‘T know he goes woth other women and I’m never going back to him.” In his judgment, his Honour found that no explicit admission of infidelity was made by the husband to his wife as suggested. He did not, however, accept the view that the husband’s conduct was beyond reproach.
