KHYBER PASS STOP
DOES NOT SUIT MOTORISTS Members of the Auckland Automobile Association disapproved last evening of the decision of the Auckland Transport Board that the stop on the eastern side of the intersection of Khyber Pass and Mountain Roads be moved lower down. The Auckland Transport Board wrote stating that the stop was on the western side of the Mountain Road intersection, but many complaints had been received that when a tram pulled up on that side it caused inconvenience. The secretary reported that a tall}’ had shown 3SB vehicles had been affected by the present stop as against 21 affected by the suggested stop. Vehicles to the number of 73 had been unaffected b>- either stop. On the motion of Mr. G. Henning, the question was referred back to the Transport Board.
