CURACAO INVADED
ARMED VENEZUELANS ON DUTCH ISLAND GOVERNOR IMPRISONED (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Tuesday. A message from Willemstad, on the island of Curacoa, Dutch West Indies, says a Dutch destroyer is proceeding there as a result of an invasion by 500 armed Venezuelans. The latter arrived at Willemstad after an incipient revolution in their own country. They seized arms and ammunition and imprisoned the Governor of the island and the Commandant of the garrison. The Venezuelans compelled the master of an American vessel to carry them back to the mainland.
