TAUMARUNUI NEWS

The weather has been very boisterous throughout the whole district for the past few days, and the rainfall has been exceptionally heavy. The local postmaster, Mr. A. B. It was also resolved to ask the Minister of Education, the Hon. IT. Atmore, to expedite the matter of providing new classrooms, for which a grant has been promised. The Manunui Town Board has signified its willingness to support the Taumarunui Borough Council in its action in asking the member for the district to oppose any move for the establishment of a universal Saturday hali-holiday.
