EX-TOWN CLERK HONOURED
BIRKENHEAD PRESENTATION A presentation was made at the council chambers to Mr. Frank Finch, ex-town clerk of Birkenhead, yesterday afternoon. Messrs. Roberts. Sutcliffe. Tothill, Brown and Jasper, representatives of the Businessmen’s Association, presented Mr. Finch with a case of pipes and an enlarged framed photograph of Birkenhead. Mr. Roberts, in making the presentation. eulogised the good work that had been so efficiently carried out by Mr. Finch while holding the position of town clerk and engineer, and it was with deep regret that they learned of his resignation. The other members present spoke on the same lines. Mr. Finch suitably replied.
