MUSIC IN HAMILTON
PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY FORMED (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Today. A philharmonic society was formed in Hamilton last evening, when nearly all the members of the Winter Show Choir and several members of the defunct choral society joined. It is planned to maintain an orchestra within the society in the near future. The following officers were elected: Patrons, Messrs. J. A. Young, M.P., J. R. Fow, A. E. Manning, J. E. Lidd, I. B. Booth; president, Mr. W. H. Paul; chairman, Mr. J. Clark; conductor, Mr. J. S. Webster; secretary, Mr. H. James; treasurer. Mr. H. Fow; librarian, Mrs. H. Worm.
