"I want to say,” he said, "that we will continue our efforts from headquarters as strenuously as just before the election. “My ideal is to have a system of org * isation, complete, efficient, powerful. stretching from the North Cape to the Bluff, whereby we can continue to select and send to the House of Representatives men of the calibre that we have placed there already. •'The organisation cannot claim all the credit. To each individual candidate this belongs. But we are going to send your candidate back with an added majority.” Mr. H. C. Baulf, divisional organiser, also spoke on local organisation. Following the visit of Sir Joseph Ward, Mr. Davy has been actively engaged in organisation affairs. During his visit he has spoken to the divisional executive and has explained in detail the new scheme of organisation that is now being put into force throughout the country. It was decided that in the Auckland division a start should be made immediately to put it into effect. Mr. Davy attended several meetings of the party held in various parts of the city during his visit. Last evening he was present at a meeting of the Auckland East Ladles’ Branch and gave an address on general organisation and the value of the women’s movement in the party.
