PERSONAL.—The was recommissioned this week at Auckland with Captain W. W. Fish in command. His deck officers are the following: Chief: Mr. J. Warcup; acting-second, Mr. J. V. Broadhouse; acting-third, Mr. T. C. Langford. Captain J. G. Watson, of the Kurow, and Captain Donald McDonald, of the Kanna, exchanged ships at Wellington yesterday. Mr. L. R. Leeder. who has been on holiday at Lyttelton, has relieved the third officer of the Wahine, Mr. A. J. McKenzie. who has transferred to the Opihi as second officer,-relieving Mr. S. B. Ward for holiday leave. Mr. L. Sinclair has joined the Wairuna as second officer, relieving Mr. H. W. Jones, who will await instructions. Captain A. T. Toten was a passenger by the Ulimaroa from Sydney on Tuesday. Dr. C. G. Le Royd, surgeon of the Aorangi, arrived from Sydney by the Ulimaroa on Tuesday.

MAKURA FOR SYDNEY.—Due at Wellington on Monday morning from San Francisco via way ports, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura is now scheduled to sail again at 6 p.m. next Wednesday for Sydney.

LAWBEATH’S ITINERARY The steamer Lawbeath is expected to complete unloading raw sugar from Cuba at Chelsea on Saturday. Afterwards the vessel is to go to Westport for bunkers, and then to Makatea Island to load phosphates for Honolulu.

KAPONGA AT WELLI NGTON.—Now discharging South Australian cargo at Wellington, the Union Company’s steamer Kaponga is to leave at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Auckland and Portland to complete. She is expected to arrive here on Sunday next.

MARAMA AND MAUNGANUI. —At 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon the Union Company’s Marama and Maunganui both leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington respectively. Both vessels are due at their arrival ports next Tuesday.

AORANGI FROM VANCOUVER.—The Royal Mail liner Aorangi left Vancouver yesterday with passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand and Australia. She is due at Auckland on June 16 and and she will be replaced by the Makura. at Sydney on June 21. At Sydney the vessel will be withdrawn for overhaul,

NIAGARA DUE MONDAY.—Leaving Sydney this afternoon for Auckland, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Niagara is due here on Monday morning, and will berth at the Prince’s Wharf. At 11 a.m. next Tuesday she is scheduled to sail again for Suva, Honolulu, Victoria and Vancouver.

CANADIAN BRITISHER RETURNING —Advice has been received from the local office of the Canadian National Steamships that the Canadian Britisher is to clear Wellington for Auckland tonight, and should arrive here on Sunday morning. She is to complete loading here and sail for New York, Boston and Montreal on Tuesday next.

CUMBERLAND CLEARED CURACAO —Reported to have cleared Curacao last Monday, the Federal Line steamer Cumberland, en route from West Coast ports of Great Britain with general merchandise for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Timaru, Port Chalmers and Bluff, is due at Auckland on June IS. The New Zealand Shipping Company ara the local agents.

BARON MACLAY SAILING —Messrs. R. Millar and Co. advise that the Baron Maclay, at present discharging sulphur from Galveston (Texas) at King’s Wharf, is to be dispatched for Port Chalmers at three o’clock this afternoon to continue unloading. From there the vessel! proceeds to Lyttelton, New Plymouth and Wanganui in that order to complete. Her movements from then on are not known yet, but she will probably go to Port Kembla for bunkers.

GOLDEN STATE A R RIVIN G.—Further radio advice received by Henderson and Macfarlane states that the O. and O. Line’s steamer Golden Gate is now expected to arrive at Orakei anchorage at 3 p.m. today from the Pacific coast ports. She will land 16 cases of explosives before coming alongside the Prince's Wharf to commence discharging her local portion of general cargo. From this port the vessel proceeds to Wellington, Timaru and Dunedin to complete discharge.

RUAPEHU FOR AUCKLAND—Leaving 7l ytt tl ton afternoon for Auckland, the ISew Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Ruapehu is due here on Sunday to continue her discharge of Condon cargo. Later the vessel proceeds to New Plymouth, where she completes discharge, and commences loading for her return voyage.
