RUGBY NIGHT AT NORTHCOTE
By the courtesy of the management of the Palais Theatre. Northcote. a P-ugby night was held last evening. In addition to the picture programme the Rugby team of Maori boys from St. Stephen’s College gave musical items, while the seventh grade juniors in football "rig” sang - “On the Bail.” During the interval Captain Redmond, a member of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union, briefly addressed those present on the merits of the Rugby game, and also asked for their further moral and financial assistance to forward the national game in Northcote and Birkenhead.
Dancing was indulged in at the conclusion of the entertainment.
