COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Canopus is to sail from YVestport for Auckland with a cargo of coal tonight. The vessel is expected here on Friday. The Lyttelton left for the Coast for a raft of logs this morning. The Waiti is at present on the slip undergoing repairs. The Awahou is to be dispatched for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne at 5 p.m. today. The Pukeko is not now expected from the East Coast until Monday next. The Coronation is scheduled to sail for Awanui at noon on Saturday. The Margaret W. sailed for .Gisborne direct early this afternoon. The Otimai leaves for Opotiki and Kutarere at 4 o’clock this afternoon. The Waimea, which sails this afternoon at 4 o'clock for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland next Sunday. • The Waipiata leaves at 10 o’clock this evening for Portland to load clement. She returns to Auckland on Thursday to complete her loading for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kent, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool, leaves Auckland on Thursday for Lyttelton, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth. The Ruapehu is to clear Lyttelton tomorrow for Auckland, thence New Plymouth to complete her discharge of London cargo. She is due here next Saturday. The Gunbar is due at Auckland about Thursday from the East Coast, and sails the following day on her return 'trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays.
